Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data the No Pressure game and the nopressure.space website handle, why, and what you can do about it. Lodestone Development, based in the Netherlands ("we", "us"), is responsible for this data.

The short version

  • We don't sell your data and there are no ads.
  • This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
  • The game uses your Steam account for multiplayer and achievements, and Unity's Vivox service for voice chat.
  • We don't record voice chat, and your microphone starts muted.

1. The website

Server logs. When you visit nopressure.space, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. It needs this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are kept for a short time by the host.

No cookies or tracking. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no tracking pixels. Fonts and images come from our own server.

The trailer. The trailer is hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and Google receives your IP address and browser information under Google's privacy policy.

Other sites. Links to Steam, Discord and social media take you to services with their own privacy policies.

2. The game

Steam. You play No Pressure through Steam. The game uses your Steam ID and Steam display name to host and join sessions, show your name to your crewmates, and unlock achievements. Game traffic between players runs through Steam's networking. Valve handles your Steam account under the Steam Privacy Policy.

Voice chat. Voice chat runs on Vivox, a service from Unity Technologies. To connect you, the game signs in to Unity anonymously, which creates a random Unity player ID, and then logs in to Vivox with that ID and your Steam display name. Your voice travels through Vivox's servers to the other players in your session. We don't record or store voice chat. Your microphone starts muted, and you can mute it again or turn voice off at any time in the game. Other players can hear you and could record their own screen, so keep that in mind.

Technical data. No Pressure is built with the Unity engine. Unity may collect basic technical information when the game runs, such as your device model, operating system, graphics hardware and crash details. Unity uses this to improve its engine, as described in Unity's player privacy policy.

Stored on your computer. The game saves your settings (such as audio, controls, language and your microphone choice) and a random player ID that lets you rejoin a session after a disconnect. This stays on your PC. We only see log files if you choose to send them to us.

The game has no accounts of its own, no in-game purchases, no ads and no analytics of our own.

3. When you contact us

If you email us or message us on Discord, we use your message and contact details to answer you. We delete support emails once your question is handled and we no longer need them, and at the latest after 12 months.

4. Why we're allowed to use this data

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on:

5. Who else receives data

Some of these companies process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on safeguards the GDPR allows, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. How long data is kept

We don't store voice chat. Steam data is kept by Valve under its own policy. The anonymous Unity player ID and Vivox login data are kept by Unity under its policy. If you want them deleted, email us and we'll ask Unity to remove whatever we can link to you. Server logs are kept briefly by our host. Support emails are covered in section 3.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it. You can also object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or the authority in your own country.

8. Children

No Pressure is sold on Steam, and Steam's age rules apply. We don't knowingly collect more data from children than described here. If you're a parent and think your child has shared personal data with us, email us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes

If the game or website starts handling data differently, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. For important changes, we'll also post a note on the Steam page.
